Very heavy but easy to maintain, the Golden Spot is one of the lights I wish I had in my collection. I am actually still searching for a good offer of that model! Servicing two of them, which belongs to a friend, who is appreciating not only the ClayPaky fixtures, but the spot ones, was a pleasure.

Golden Spot contains two ballasts, in parallel connection, which makes it easy to downgrade them, with installing a 575 Watt lamp and removing one of the ballasts. The HTI 1200 by Osram has the same length and base with the 575 versions.

Also, all the effects and condenser lenses, are installed on a single module. Removing 5 screws will set it free, making the maintenance easy!

Golden Spot is a very silent fixture, despite the four fans which had in the lamp compartment and with the graphical effects it has, it would be suitable for theater use also!

It is true that the gobo combinations and color shades, left me stunned. I don't need to mention the quality of projection, as we talk about a ClayPaky fixture!
