Lighting Programming
Programming lights in ex. Mariano Club, now Remember Dancing Bar was more emotional, rather than challenging lighting work. At that place, in the island of Antiparos, I saw my favorite scanner when I was kid, back in '91. The club was abandoned for five years, until the new owner gave life to it again. In the past, the only lighting effects were the two Euroscans, lighting the club for about 13 years.
Nowadays, two Martin MX10 Extreme are scanning the dancefloor, controlled by a typical 192 channel console the DMX Operator 1 by Elation. There was no need for complicated programming, on the contrary, I've tried to make simple scanning possitions, similar to the Euroscans movements. I really enjoyed working with both of them and the fact that after 24 years I had the opportunity to create some lighting moods in that, special for me place, made the nights emmotional and exciting.
Like the Mariano Club in Antiparos, that place in Orestiada had a long
history in the night life of the city and it was abandoned for many years before it became again an amazing place with so much possitive energy.
Programming to Luv' Club was the ultimate experience for me, as I had a perfect collaboration and the same professional mentality with the owner, so I had his full trust, regarding my lighting creations.
There were 17 moving heads. Luv club lighting equipment includes 80 total lighting fixtures. All of them programmed with DVC3 software and arranged on to a Midi Controler for easy, real time activation. There are different
paletes for movements, color effects / combinations, gobo combinations / chases, dimmer / shutter effects / pulses and so on. The LJ now has the possibility of endless combinations, using the lighting equipment in real time, creating lighting moods and effects, together with the music.

The more, the merrier.
Oh yes, at MWE2017 I had so much fun in controlling the lights of DjShop's booth, the company which I work for. I enjoyed also the weeks of preparation of the scenes and 3D designs. About 99,9% of programming was already completed with the help of Daslight 3D Virtualisation. We had lights from Briteq and BeamZ brands, plus 3 powerful but low cost BeamZ lasers, from Phantom series. The whole show was based on layers, so I could easily show to people, how easy is to do amazing stuff with Daslight.
