Always working on projects!
Welcome, dear visitors! This is a dedicated section with short stories and presentations of various Clay Paky restoration projects.
I like keeping alive my memories from all the restoration projects, by taking many pictures and videos, and I would like to have a part of it online and share it here, with other passionate people!
From time to time, this page will be updated with the restoration stories and experiences about the awesome Clay Paky fixtures!
The first scanner model from Clay Paky I've got, is 4 MiniScans HPE! Their small size allowed me to restore the four of them in one month!
I've got in Czech Republic two scanners of that awesome model! Their career begins from Hamburg - Germany and continues to Prague and Moravia.
Abandoned...
I had the pleasure to restore 6 of my favorite model, for a friend. These lights were lighting up the nights of the best and oldest club in Karditsa city! I am happy that they will continue their career there!
Two of the most exciting and intensive restorations I have ever made and makes me proud of! A short story of two abandoned fixture on a field, exposed in the weather conditions, in pieces... a very sad and disappointing start, with a very happy ending!
Together with the Stage LIghts, 4 Golden Spots were lighting up the Cosi Club at Karditsa and I am about
to maintain two of them for now!
Two Stage Zooms salvaged back in December of
2019, in a very good condition, with minor issues on their PCBs. Those heads are killers with their
luminosity!
After a long road in searching that model, two Stage Scans, joined my collection. Thanks to a fellow collector and a friend, the fixtures travelled safely from Finland to Greece in the summer of '21. Read here details on their restoration story!
At the end of 2022, the 3 famous Golden Scan 3 HMI 575, arrived from their homeland, Italy! Two of them worked for many years in the legendary STUDIO ZETA in Caravaggio city, in ITALY! I am thrilled to have restored these Goldens, which worked for so many years in that place. One of them is officially the oldest Clay Paky fixture I own, which is now 31 years old.
It's the summer of 2023. This page is a storyline with moments from the restoration of 5 Golden Spots I saved just before recycling! These are the youngest ClayPaky fixtures of the old "heavy" line I have, made in 2006.
